On the first of October, the founder of the youth ministry I am actively involved in will be taking the vow of Holy Matrimony. Everyone participating in this holiest of her undertakings, she gathered to her place today. Wedding plans were revealed, designations straightened out, and materials necessary for this event of the year are almost finished. Our hands synchronized with our lips as we drowned ourselves in endless babble, oblivious to the fact that only three days had passed since we last mingled. The tummy-aching-that-made-me-cry laughter, fueled by fruits and spiritual and nonsensical conversation, reverberated against the flares and strong wind of the sunny afternoon. The music in the background composed the soundtrack of the day. A holiday spent wisely indeed. :)
